Hours of Work
6.75 hours per day up to 33.75 hours per week
The Summer Recreation Counsellor Student position include but are not limited to: the organization and delivery of a recreation program(s) for children served by the Agency. This position supports the Agency in an administrative and frontline capacity to ensure that children in the community have access to recreational programs throughout the summer months. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful incumbents to build and enhance decision-making, problem solving and interpersonal skill sets.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Proven organizational and administrative skills.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a great team player.
Must be able to work in a team setting and independently.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
Interest in recreation and leisure activities and child care
Fort Frances Ontario (may include some travel)
Be 15 to 30 years of age
Be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident and legally entitled to work according the Legislation and Canadian regulations
Have a valid “G” Ontario driver's licence in good standing and regular access to a reliable vehicle
Must possess a valid Class G Ontario Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable vehicle with OPCF6A Insurance endorsement and minimum of $1000 000.00 Liability
Clear criminal reference check, Clear Vulnerable Sector check, Clear Internal Records Check and a Clear Driver’s Abstract
